First of all, I learned not to be afraid to use my flash. I thought it was something I needed to avoid if at all possible to obtain that oh so natural look. Instead, I learned I may need it and there are things I can do when using it to make it look more natural. At least this way I can get the picture to turn out rather than suffer with a dark/blurry picture. I played with it today. Flash, no flash. I had to cheat when setting it in manual what to put my shutter speed at if I was going to be using a flash. So, as I make note that I jumped back into automatic mode, it was only for one picture, then it was back to manual. I'm still so proud that I haven't given up in manual. It's hard. Harder than it looks!
The other thing I learned how to do was a story board. So far, again I'm just in the beginning stages and after some time I hope just like my pictures I can create better, cuter story boards. Here is my first attempt.
