Worldwide Photowalking Event

Last Saturday, I had the opportunity to "walk" with some of the greatest photographers in Utah. It was a Worldwide Photowalking day, where over 30,000 photographers worldwide set out together in their own cities to walk (and take pictures of course). It was a hot, miserable day, but fun none the less. I always enjoy the time I'm able to spend with my fellow photographer friends and I ALWAYS learn something new. I didn't take a whole lot of pictures, I was there to watch and learn mostly. Suzannes neice came along with us and I being drawn to take pictures of people more than buildings or nature had her model for a few. As you can see, she's a gorgeous girl and as sweet as the come! I love her!

We call her "Aunt Jill"

She is one of the sweetest ladies I know!!! We know her cause she works with Neils and we love her because she treats us and the kids like we are her own kids and grandkids. When I take the kids up to visit dad at work, we have to stop by and see Jill and she's always ready to take a picture of us. She's just so cute that way. This past Christmas she bought Christmas jammies for the kids, just because. She's just so kind and thoughtful and an absolute doll! Her OWN grandkids are so lucky. This week she took a week off of work to spend with her granddaughter that came to visit from California. Aren't they cute!

How could I resist!  My baby sister M has a huge crush on my friend 

Suzanne's boy M.  They did a photo shoot together and since then they 

are"in love."  My M is out of school for the holidays and came over to 

hang out.  I love it when she comes to play.  She takes over and comes 

up with the best games for my kids.  They are in heaven today.  Especially, 

since the last three weeks have been pretty boring (trying to feel better).

I couldn't resist a five minute session of my gorgeous sister outside in 

the snow.  Here are the few I took!

Training with Scott Jarvie (Thanks!!!!)

Suzanne and I were lucky enough to have Scott Jarvie offer up his time

to help us with our photography skills.  We went downtown with my sister

and Suzanne's boy to do a shoot.  For having never met each other

they did great and made for the BEST models!  What a nubie little couple they

are.  Thanks again Scott, we had a fabulous time!

My baby sister!

I love this kid!  She is my little sister, but is more of a sibling to 

my own kids.  I am 22 years older than her.  There are less years

between me and my mom than me and my sister.  She's so sweet to my kids

and always comes up with the cutest, most clever little games to play

with them.  I'm so lucky to have her and I'm always happy when there 

is a school holiday, cause it usually means she gets to come hang out with us.

Funny, but I think the first picture makes her look older than she is 

and the second reflects the young, adorable 10 year old that she really is.
