We've become quite the pair!
This time it was a friend of a friend.  I didn't know this family at all, but
I enjoyed being able to go and photograph them.  Just a few favs...

True Love

Photobucket
This morning was a LOT of fun for me.  Randi came down with her family from Idaho.
She wanted some family photos and asked Suzanne if she could do them for her.
Of course, I tagged along (somewhat selfishly cause I wanted to see Randi too!) and
I'm so glad I did.  The three of us were on a cruise together as single girls and now
we're all married (we all married within 2 months of each other and had our last
babies within two months of each other too).  It was so great to see Randi and Bruce
and their incredibly, happy, loving family.  It was a reminder to me of what life is all about.
Thank you for letting me be apart of your morning and letting me capture
that incredible, overflowing amount of love you two share.
You guys are SO GREAT! :)

I love these two for so many reasons...

Photobucket
One reason, is just look at them... they make me smile!!!
One reason, I smile is because of the memories and how we became friends.
If it hadn't been for her I would have never met my husband.
I will always be grateful for that!
It's kinda weird how it all turned out and how our lives are so alike!  I love these guys.
I'm sad they live in Idaho, but one day you'll move down right?
Photobucket
Don't they look like newlyweds?
Photobucket
But as you can see... they're NOT!
Don't they have a gorgeous little family!!!!

My favorite model

Photobucket
More to come, but for now just one of my favorite model... Miss Sky Hannah Banana!
Photobucket
Okay, I mean two!
Photobucket
And this is another favorite model... Miss Brookey-Brooke!

Wonder...

Photobucket
So, I know this was just posted, but I have been looking for an
opportunity to participate in Carin's challenge this month and this
seemed like the perfect one for me.  I love catching an expression
on a child's face that you can almost know exactly what they're thinking.
This one, she noticed the birds in the sky.  They caught her attention and
she looked up.  Her eyes tell the story.  So my one word to describe would
be "wonder."  The wonder of a child speaks in this picture.

My hair lady!!!

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
Sorry Tiff, "hair lady" makes you sound old... AND YOU'RE NOT!!
I hope you had a great birthday on Monday!
This is my cute friend Tiff and her darling family.  She's the one that makes my
hair look amazing!  She was kind enough to let me take pictures of her cute
little family.  Too bad they weren't up for the cold, so we'll try again another
day.  For now here are a few...

Baby blues!

Photobucket
I'll post more later Lyndsay, but I wanted to put up one of my favorite family pictures...
I had the opportunity to meet up with a distant cousin and take her darling little family's pictures.  Her little boy was so
"squishy nubie."  I could just eat him up.  Look at those blue eyes and cute cheeks and
you can see why I say that!  He was such a sport too
coming from nice warm 75 degree weather to our cold practically freezing
weather.  You guys were SO GREAT!  I'll get more up later today.

Just a couple for now...

PhotobucketPhotobucket
I always come back and add more later.  This will be one I'll add more to.
I wanted to get Sky in some of her CUTE Matilda Jane, so I grabbed her and
ran out the door.  She wasn't in the best of moods for pictures, but I managed to
still get a couple cute ones anyway.  She is growing up WAY too fast for me.  I think
sometimes how she is such my little girl and then we'll be sitting and talking or reading
and it dawns on me that she isn't my baby anymore.  She talks so grown up sometimes it
scares me.  I love this kid though, curls and all.  I was so sad at first that she didn't get
my nice thick, straight hair.  I was in constant envy of my niece cause she DID get the nice
thick Smart hair.  Now, I've come to terms with her hair and I LOVE it!  She's started asking
me to wear it down, which is a new thing.  Before, as most of you know she's only been
seen with big bows and her hair always pulled back.  She hated to have any piece of hair
blow in front of her face and tickle it.  Now she's growing up and wants it down and curly
as she tells me some mornings.  I love it.  Isn't she a doll?  I sure think so!!!

Tagged

Photobucket
Thanks Carin for the tag.  I've NEVER been tagged before!  How great is this?
So if I understand it, I had to post the 4th picture from my 4th folder, right?
This would be it... It has some meaning to me in the way that this was the FIRST
shoot I did after your class that wasn't just of my own kids.  I convinced my sister and her
family to run over to Gardner Village and let me take pictures of them.
They were at dinner eating when I called and they were kind enough to run
over and pose for me while I played.  It was kinda nerve racking for me having JUST learned
how to use and take pictures in the manual mode.  I was proud though.  I didn't switch back
for even one picture of them.  It was a great learning experience for me to just go for
it and see what I could get.  I just wanted to be able to get good exposed pictures and that was it.  I
wasn't working on anything else but making sure I was in manual and that's it.  I was happy to
see that most of them even turned out being in focus.  This was also of course before
I learned some editing techniques, so before Lightroom/Photoshop, Rule of Thirds, etc.
I am just happy to have jumped right in, feet first because I'm starting to get the feel
for things and I'M LOVING IT!!!!  So this is it... the 4th picture in my 4th folder.

OH... I almost forgot, I should tag some of my friends!  Hmmmm...
I tag Suzanne, Andrea and Jen!
