..............................
Yesterday I met up with my sister and we took a few of her baby girl. She turned one last month so she wanted some 1 year old pictures of her. At first we tried in the studio but the natural light was muted because of all the clouds, so we decided to go outside, but would you know it the sun started shinning right down on us. We could see that the entire valley was covered by great clouds, except for where were were at! So back to the studio we went. Oh well, here's one that I love! The sun shinning right on her beautiful little face and bright blue eyes.

People that know me, know that when I see the cutest kid or something that is so irresistible I say words like "NUBIE!" or "What a SQUISH!" This was one of those days. The nurse for my kids at our pediatricians office just has her first baby. She's a NUBIE!!! I hadn't seen her yet, so I asked if I could take pictures of her (my way to make sure I got to see this adorable little one in person). So today, she came over and we had fun. And what a SQUISH! I had to stop half way through the shoot, hold her and squish her little face against mine. I couldn't resist! I'm sure you can see why. And no, it's not because I'm baby hungry, it's because, well... look at her!
As I was going through the pictures I stopped, edited this one and had to put it up immediately!
I LOVE that
Carin gives us a challenge each month to be creative and look to capture something different. This month she asked us to capture love. Of course, it's February so it makes sense. There are so many things I LOVE in this life, but one thing that gets me is when my kids hug and kiss each other. It makes me melt every time! My little "B" is at the stage now where she gives hugs and kisses all the time and she blows kisses to anyone she's saying bye to. It's fun and I LOVE it! So here's a recent shoot, one image I failed to share earlier, but I think it shows how much big brother LOVES his little brother! He seems so protective of him as well.
So here they are, GQ Mag is going to be knocking on their door in several years! They have the looks and the charm! They are sweetheart boys for sure. Thanks "A" for coming over so we could visit and take a few pictures of the boys! It was so good to see you again! I hate that you live so far away! Have a safe trip back to Michigan!
So, I've been nagging my sister to let me have 45 minutes out of her SUPER busy schedule to take pictures of her and her little "M." Today was the day...
This adorable, 4wk old baby sister made me miss the tiny, cuddly stage of babies!
Big brother "H" has gorgeous eyes!
Little Miss "E" Isn't she so cute?
I'll share more later. For now, how sweet is this?

I'll post more later Lyndsay, but I wanted to put up one of my favorite family pictures...
I had the opportunity to meet up with a distant cousin and take her darling little family's pictures. Her little boy was so
"squishy nubie." I could just eat him up. Look at those blue eyes and cute cheeks and
you can see why I say that! He was such a sport too
coming from nice warm 75 degree weather to our cold practically freezing
weather. You guys were SO GREAT! I'll get more up later today.
