Yesterday I met up with my sister and we took a few of her baby girl. She turned one last month so she wanted some 1 year old pictures of her. At first we tried in the studio but the natural light was muted because of all the clouds, so we decided to go outside, but would you know it the sun started shinning right down on us. We could see that the entire valley was covered by great clouds, except for where were were at! So back to the studio we went. Oh well, here's one that I love! The sun shinning right on her beautiful little face and bright blue eyes.

Can you believe her dark, gorgeous eyelashes? Her Grandpa said it earlier, "Just wait until she's 18!" She's a one beautiful little girl!

Today's mini shoot brought me this gorgeous little face. She wasn't so sure she wanted her picture taken, but what 19 month old does. After her being completely unsure of who I was and what I was trying to get her to do, I brought out the beads. Look at those bright, beautiful eyes!
All because the Jorgensen family decided to go to Red Robin...
One night, with a $5 off a purchase of $20 or more coupon we decided to take our family to the Red Robin out at The District in South Jordan. We happened to get this darling server who did an amazing job. I'm sure you'd all agree that great servers are hard to come by these days. We talked about how great she was the whole way home that night. So the next time that coupon came in the mail we thought, "Let's go and ask for the server we had last time. What was her name... Hillary I think." So off we went, requesting her service. There she was and we were happy to see her. She did an even more amazing job that second time. So, we continued to go back, time and time again. Not because I LOVE the food, trust me there are a million other places I'd choose to go, but because we love Hillary. She would see us arrive and run and get our table ready with hot fries, fry sauce, waters and chocolate milks for the kids. It made it an easy night out with three little ones every time. She is amazing.
Here is her darling little family.
My favorite part of the shoot was listening to her little girl sing the theme song to Phineas and Ferb. What a doll and her little voice, priceless!

These kids are the most smiley kids I have EVER seen. It's pretty crazy that the pictures I'm posting are ones of them not smiling or not smiling their BIG, HUGE SMILES! I had to beg them NOT to smile every once in awhile so I could get some of their sweet, beautiful faces. Their smiles just come naturally. And why wouldn't they smile when they have some of the most amazing parents. I truly admire them and look up to them as people and as parents.
People that know me, know that when I see the cutest kid or something that is so irresistible I say words like "NUBIE!" or "What a SQUISH!" This was one of those days. The nurse for my kids at our pediatricians office just has her first baby. She's a NUBIE!!! I hadn't seen her yet, so I asked if I could take pictures of her (my way to make sure I got to see this adorable little one in person). So today, she came over and we had fun. And what a SQUISH! I had to stop half way through the shoot, hold her and squish her little face against mine. I couldn't resist! I'm sure you can see why. And no, it's not because I'm baby hungry, it's because, well... look at her!
As I was going through the pictures I stopped, edited this one and had to put it up immediately!
So here they are, GQ Mag is going to be knocking on their door in several years! They have the looks and the charm! They are sweetheart boys for sure. Thanks "A" for coming over so we could visit and take a few pictures of the boys! It was so good to see you again! I hate that you live so far away! Have a safe trip back to Michigan!
Just before doing a shoot today, my little "B" found a hat and put it on. She was ready to model. It's only when I'm not planning on it or really trying to get pictures of her, that she jumps up on the chair all cute, ready and waiting for me to click away. So, I had to share the few "test shots" I did before the cute little "D" family came along.

So it was a fabulous afternoon. You'll see why (hopefully tomorrow) when I post some of these boys. My friend of at least 11 years was in town visiting from Michigan. She is a doll and I love her to death. She has some dolls for boys too...totally cute, photogenic, soon to be heart-throbs. I always try and have lunch with her when she comes to town (it's hard to squeeze in time when she has TONS of family here), but this time I insisted she come over so we could get some cute pictures of her boys. Let's just say it will be a day or two to go through the 100 favorites I have so I can post a couple for you to see.
