Yes, this is the same picture I just posted. I am playing with things in Lightroom and Photoshop and tryng to figure out what looks best. I wanted to see the difference between the two pictures on the blog. I am planning on taking a couple classes up at Pictureline to start my learning process of Photoshop and Lightroom. I have a couple books, but haven't taken the time to read through them (I've always got a kid that wants me to read one of THEIR books. Scott Kelby just isn't their favorite author.) So I figure if I leave them for an hour and have someone talk me through it, I can make my start a little better. Right now it's just me playing and I don't really know what I'm doing. I'm just making good guesses on what to do. I'd like to have a more solid ground and be able to do the same thing more than once.

Free Mini Session
ANNOUNCING... Mini Sessions!
There's more to this than you think. Read through as you'll see there is an incentive for each of you.
MINI SESSIONS, what are they?
*$50, this can be indoors (studio or your house) or outdoors, you choose.
* 20-30 minute shoot of something simple.
Examples: You bought a new outfit and just want a nice picture of your child in it but don't want to do a full photo shoot and pay $100 for it. You'd like pictures of your kid in their soccer, football, dance, etc. uniform. You'd like pictures of your kid on their bike, playing in the snow, making a snow angel, throwing a snowball, reading a book, jumping, hugging a sibling, in their church clothes, in their Halloween costume, making a Gingerbread house, frosting cookies, making Valentines, holding their Easter basket, etc. The ideas are endless.
*What you get: Up to 10 edited images and access to an online gallery where you may download the images as your own. If you'd like them on a DVD the cost is an extra $10.
So now for the incentive...
Refer 3 of your friends or family members. Once 3 of your friends or family members have had 3 paid sessions (of any type, including these Mini Sessions) you will receive one free Mini Session of your own.
Mini Sessions are available almost anytime! Please email me and we will work out a date and time that is best for you.
Miss Malley Mac as I like to call her. Here she is with her new, very loved little sister. Could she be any cuter? This is Sky's best buddy in the WHOLE WORLD and for good reason. She is one sweet heart with a smile that melts your heart. I love to squish her like she's my own.
This was taken at Gardeners Village in June. I'll post a few others in My Flickr from the shoot.

WOW-EEEE!!! So I've done it... I've loaded Photoshop CS3/Lightroom on my computer and the crazy stuff I can do, it's unbelievable! The possibilities are endless. I wanted to post a picture, not because it's amazing, but because I wanted to add the story that goes with it.
Throughout my life I have enjoyed coming up with hmmm... what do I call them besides just a play off of words. For instance, while I was in my dating years I would "heart attack", "cover in clovers", "spook", etc. a guy I was dating. Since I've been married I've done a few cards for my husband such as, with a box of Junior Mints it said, "We were MINT for each other." His favorite I believe is, "BePEZ, I love you." Of course that was a card with a Pez machine attached to it. So here is a picture to show what I did this year for Fathers Day. If you haven't figured out what went along with the pair of shoes, it was a note telling him he was a "SHOE-per" Dad! And SHOE-d he not like the shoes he SHOE-d at least know that we love him and hope he has a SHOE-per Fathers day. Thus the shoe picture.
