Eureka!

Last weekend, I was invited to come along on a "Mini Photowalk" to Eureka, UT. What an incredible (kinda) ghost town. Apparently, this town used to be as big as Park City. It thrived on Gold and when the gold mining ran out, the town died with it. It's got some incredible little, old shops that seem to be the main street of town. It's so sad to see, but it appeared as though they may be trying to bring it back to life. There was so much there, and so many great places to take pictures. It's a gold mine in the fact that there are SO many cool places to shoot. I could have spent the WHOLE day there. I know we'll go back, it's just so cool there. Here are a few faves...

With or without texture... either way she's gorgeous.

Hi! I found your blog through Carin Davis' website. I love your photos! You are so talented! Did you take a workshop with Carin? I am taking her class on beginning photography to hone in on my skills. I want to get so much better and get inspired when I see your photos and others that take awesome shots. Would you mind sharing some of your locations that you take some of your photos? I just moved here from Seattle and am looking for some different backgrounds and do some experimenting. Also, do you use lightroom? I just purchased it and LOVE how it works! I have tried to find some present online and haven't found any yet. Have you made your own presets? Some of your photos is just wonderful. If you have purchased or found some free presets for LR, could you share too? Thank you so much for your time!
